The Depot London Wedding Photographer

Newlyweds at The Depot N7

I absolutely adore The Depot! Located just a few minutes walk from Caledonian Road Tube Station in Islington, it boasts a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, complete with wooden benches, exposed brickwork, and plenty of natural light streaming in through large windows (which is always a photographer's dream!). I've had the pleasure of capturing some genuinely unforgettable wedding moments here, and it's easily one of my top picks to work at.

One of the standout features is the outdoor courtyard, which sets it apart from many other Central London venues. It's the perfect place to enjoy welcoming drinks and canapés during the warmer months or simply a great spot to relax outside with a drink any time of year. It also provides a lovely backdrop for some relaxed couple's portraits and a great opportunity to take a big group shot from above should you wish.

The Depot also boasts an impressive selection of beers on tap and delicious food choices. Traditional catering options with a modern twist alongside a range of canapés give couples the freedom to create a truly unique and memorable day. It's the perfect spot for couples who want to host an unforgettable and relaxed celebration for up to 280 guests.

The Depot is a cool, modern venue that ticks all the boxes for a perfect wedding party in London - whilst also being a bit of a hidden gem. And because it’s spread over two levels, their friendly team can quickly turn the room around in preparation for an unforgettable evening of dancing and celebration. Here are some images to give a feel for the vibe and a few great moments I've been fortunate enough to capture there in the last few years. If you’re planning a wedding in a bar or pub, I’ve put together a few tips for planning a pub wedding here.

A versatile wedding venue in North London

Above are some images capturing the relaxed vibe and details inside and around The Depot. The rustic wooden benches can be arranged to suit whatever layout you have in mind, and the raised floor can be used to welcome guests upon arrival or for additional seating.

Relax outside with your wedding guests

The courtyard is great for welcome drinks and canapés or simply chilling and enjoying the outdoor space. It gets nice light throughout the day, especially in the summer months and offers a few great potential backdrops for some relaxed couple’s photos too.

A unique venue for your London wedding

I hope you feel the love and joy in these images and can see what a truly wonderful setting the Depot is for a special wedding celebration that offers something a bit different in North London. And if you are getting married nearby, arriving on an old London bus along with your guests is a memorable way to get the party started. If you would like to see some real weddings I have had the joy of capturing at The Depot, click on the links to view Katie and Kyle’s wedding or here to look at some of the images I captured for Emma and George on their special day.

You’ve made it to the end, and I hope you enjoyed reading this post and also liked my photos as much as I enjoyed being there to capture them. If you’re planning to celebrate your wedding at The Depot in London and are looking for a photographer, please get in touch. It would be great to hear about your plans.
