Waterside Hotel Southport | Candice + Stephen
It was my first time as a Waterfront Hotel wedding photographer in Southport for Candice and Stephen's special celebration. The day started quite brightly, and I spent some time capturing bridal and groom prep photos as Candice and Stephen stayed in the same hotel on different floors. Candice and her bridal party, some of whom had flown in from Indonesia, got ready in the Green Room, a big space with lovely natural light coming in through the large windows.
Wedding ceremony at Emmanuel Church, Southport
The wedding ceremony was held at Emmanuel Church, just a few minutes away. Candice was walked down the aisle by her mother and a photo of her father, which was a touching and emotional moment. After the ceremony, we quickly took group photos outside the church before the guests went to the Waterfront Hotel. Just as we finished, the rain started pouring down, but we managed to walk around Prince's Park with umbrellas before heading to the reception to celebrate with close friends and family.
