The Depot London Wedding Photographer | Emma + George
Emma and George were married at Islington Town Hall on a bright autumn day in November. It was great to be back in North London again to capture a truly remarkable and emotional celebration filled with love and joy from start to finish. The day began at bridal prep, where Emma and her bridesmaids spent the morning laughing, listening to tunes and having their hair and make-up done. Emma's dad Ian arrived later in the morning. He was welling up with pride and emotion when he first saw his daughter in her stunning dress by Nicola Anne Bridal.
I then made my way to Islington Town Hall, where George and his groomsmen were arriving to welcome friends and family. George and a few other guests shed a tear as Emma walked down the short aisle to be married. Following the ceremony, I took Emma and George to one side for some quick and relaxed photos in the corridor nearby before capturing the couple walking through the confetti line before hopping on the bus for the short trip over to The Depot.
The Depot is an excellent pub venue that I've had the pleasure of working at previously and is perfect for a wedding celebration with your nearest and dearest, whatever the time of year. The tables had been beautifully decorated and were all named after various pubs and bars that George and Emma loved. George even used his woodworking skills to make the signs for each of them.
Following the joyous speeches and meal, guests then made their way onto the upper mezzanine level for a relaxing early-evening drink and a chinwag. The tables were then moved as the band set up for the evening party.
The party soon got underway as a few guests made their way onto the dancefloor to throw some shapes before the band started playing. Emma and George then had their first dance as the band began playing, after which everyone piled on to dance with them. It was nice to return to The Depot to capture Emma and George’s special day.
