I’m so happy to share some images from Holly and Ryan’s joyous August wedding. As professional singers and performers at weddings themselves, they know how to plan an epic celebration. Their special day took place at Love Lane Brewery, nestled in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle—a vibrant, creative district just south of the city centre.
Bridal Prep at The Resident Hotel
The morning began with Holly, her bridesmaids, her mum, and her godparents getting ready in the Secret Garden Suite at The Resident Hotel. Located on Seel Street in a converted warehouse, the hotel is just a short walk from Liverpool’s main attractions and Lime Street Station, with plenty of pubs and bars nearby. The suite is spread over two floors with a private garden, offering a spacious and stylish setting—perfect for the excitement of a wedding morning.
Celebrating at Love Lane Brewery
After a short trip across town in a Cadillac once owned by Elvis Presley, Holly and Ryan exchanged heartfelt vows at Love Lane Brewery. They wrote their own vows, and the personal touch made the ceremony incredibly moving, with a few happy tears shed by their guests. It’s always inspiring to see how powerful words from the heart can be, and these moments are among my favourite to capture as a wedding photographer.
Love Lane Brewery is an amazing venue for a celebration. Known for its locally brewed beers, the space is modern yet inviting, with an open-plan ground floor and a mezzanine level. It comfortably accommodates 110 guests for a sit-down meal and up to 200 for dancing. There are also function rooms on the second floor where guests can relax while the main space is turned around. With a fully licensed bar and its own kitchen, Love Lane Brewery allows you to host your ceremony, meal, and party all in one place, supported by a fantastic, friendly team.
